CII-TDB Innovation Centre
AIM & MOTIVATION- CII-TDB T NET is an innovative program of CII and TDB
(Technology Development Board), Govt. of India, through which meaningful Industry-Institute
Interaction is being implemented through out the country.
Presently, within the state of Punjab there are six such centers which
are functional. Four-in various functional disciplines of engineering, one in pharmacy
and one in management.
The basic aim of establishing these technology transfer centers, is the
optimal use of facilities of the educational institutions and also involving faculty
and students in the real (live) problems of the industry through culture of research
and development. The other initiatives can be development and testing, training
of personnel and technology adaptation.
The centers established will identify sick industrial units, and a team
comprising of students and faculty members would work out a suitable solution for
the development of the industry. The centre will also impart industrial training
to the students, who would be working in industry and solving problems.
INNOVATION CENTRE AT IET BHADDAL- Based upon the capability of our institution,
IET Bhaddal was selected for establishment of Innovation centre in the field of
Virtual Instrumentation and Automation on June 9, 2004
by joint Selection Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry and Punjab
