Under the faculty exchange program, few of the faculty is currently invoved in following activities at WSU -

Research in Image Processing, applied to enhance the machine vision capabilities for defect detection & gradation of fruits and vegetables.

Development of a 'Mobile Robot' for army purposes. The project is being developed for Tank Automotive Division (TACOM) of US Army and the objective is to enhance capabilities of the 'ODIS'; a mobile robot currently deployed in Iraq US army.

Few advanced courses on 'Smart Sensors'; 'Digital Image Processing' and Advanced Microprocessors' are alo being explored to update faculty knowledge & improve teaching-learning process at IET Bhaddal.

Research in Thermal Stress, Neutral Networks, Knowledge Management, Real Time Control, Genetic Algorithms, Hydrodynamics & Robotics.

Project on "Equation of State of Liquid metals under high Pressure and temprature" sponsered by Ministry of Defence under IDST scheme.
