Expert Lecture on Pre placement talk by TCIL IT company at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar.

A special Pre-Placement Talk was organized at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus with the objective of strengthening students’ career preparedness. The session featured Dr. Sahil Baghla from ICS Global Pass, Chandigarh, an industry expert and Cyber Security Consultant, as the keynote speaker.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Group Director (Academics) of the campus. He extended a warm welcome to the keynote speaker, faculty members, staff & students and highlighted the significance of such programs in bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Dr. Sahil Baghla delivered an insightful session on the current industrial landscape, emerging challenges in the field of cyber security, digital security standards and global employment opportunities. He encouraged students not to limit themselves to degrees alone but to focus on practical exposure, industry certifications, internships and the development of soft skills. He also shared valuable guidance on effective resume preparation, group discussions and confidently presenting oneself during interviews.

The session was interactive, with students actively participating and raising queries related to career guidance, future prospects in cyber security and international opportunities. Dr. S. S. Bindra, Registrar-cum-Director of the campus, informed that on this occasion an MoU was signed between IET Bhaddal Technical Campus and ICS Global Pass, Chandigarh. Under this agreement, joint efforts will be made to provide training, internships, skill development programs and placement opportunities to students. He stated that this collaboration would significantly enhance students’ practical exposure and connect them with the industrial environment.

The expert lecture concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Taranjeet Kaur, Dean – Research. She expressed her sincere gratitude to Dr. Sahil Baghla for sharing his valuable knowledge and appreciated the active participation of the students. Officials from ICS Global Pass, including G. S. Madan (CEO), Manoj Dhiman (COO), Tarun Kapoor (CMO) and Ms. Neetu (Head – Operations), were also present on the occasion. At the end of the program, G.S. Madan and Dr. Sahil Baghla were honored with a token of appreciation by the management team.
