International Women's Day celebrated at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus.

IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar celebrated International Women's Day dedicated to the social, economic, political and cultural achievements of women. The chairman of the organization, Tejinder Singh, congratulated everyone on International Women's Day. On this occasion, Registrar-Cum-Director Dr. S.S. Bindra inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and in his address, mentioning the theme of International Women's Day 2025, "Accelerate Action", he said that this year's theme focuses on identifying strategies and tools that will advance the advancement of women in education, employment and leadership, along with the call for accelerated progress in gender equality. He also said that women should bring their skills and capabilities forward and lead in every field. Dr. Preet Kawal Kaur (Principal - Pharmacy) also shared her views on topics like women empowerment, foeticide, self-reliance, self-safety, daughter-saving, daughter-education etc. and said that it is mandatory to educate women to eradicate evils from the society and to educate the family. Dr. Taranjit Kaur, while sharing her views, said that women have equal rights with men in every field. On this occasion, competitions were held for students in poetry recitation, rangoli, dance, fancy dress, singing, and teacher's musical chair etc. The winners of all these competitions were honored by Dr. S.S. Bindra. On this occasion Dr. Kanchan Sharma, Ms. Bhawanpreet Kaur, Ishani, Disha Thakur, Pooja Sharma etc. were present among others.
