Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning by CSE Dept

The primary objective of the workshop was to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to explore and develop new techniques in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. AI and ML have become integral components of various industries, and this workshop aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

The resource person, Mr. Neeraj Thakur, Sofcon India Pvt Ltd., New Delhi, initiated the session by introducing the fundamental concepts of AI and ML including following key points: Introduction to AI and ML – Participants were given an overview of AI, its history, and its impact on various industries.

Hands-on Session – Students had the opportunity to work with ML algorithms using Python and libraries. They also implemented classification models and performed data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.

AI in Real-World Applications – The workshop showcased various real-world applications of AI and ML. The resource person facilitated live coding sessions where students implemented basic ML models and explored different datasets. Many students appreciated the hands-on approach and the practical examples that helped them understand complex concepts more effectively.

Overall it was very fruitful workshop, participants gained a thorough understanding of AI and ML techniques. They learned how to implement machine learning models, analyze datasets, and apply AI-driven solutions to real-world problems. Students also realized that the workshop provided them with a solid foundation to start working on AI and ML projects independently.
