2025-08-12 International Youth Day Celebrated

IET Bhaddal Technical Campus organized orientation program to extend a warm welcome to the newly admitted students of the session 2025-26. In this program, students who had taken admission in various departments of the Institute were given detailed information about campus life, campus rules, placement achievements and opportunities for holistic development.

The program began with the chanting of Saraswati Vandana and the lighting of the sacred lamp. The Chairman of the institution,Tejinder Singh, conveyed his best wishes to the newly admitted students for their bright future.

After this, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Principal - Engineering, in his welcome address, formally greeted the students and their parents and said that the purpose of the orientation program is to make the environment of the college pleasant and comfortable for the newcomers.

Dr. S.S. Bindra, Registrar-cum-Director of IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, in his address, stated that the main objective of the college is the overall development of students and to impart career-oriented education, through which they can become better individuals and earn a respectable position in society. He also shared information about the newly introduced programs aligned with changes in the education sector, as well as the needs of the market, time and industry. He urged the students to work hard and utilize their talents for the development of society.

Subsequently, Dr. Preet Kawal Kaur, Principal - Pharmacy, familiarized the students with their curriculum, scholarships and modemn-day advanced technologies. In addition, through a Power Point presentation by Nileshwar Taak, the students were briefed about the rules of the University, Board and Campus.

The Placement Cell gave detailed information to the students regarding job and intenship opportunities. At the end of the program, Bhawanpreet Kaur, Head of MBA Department, delivered a vote of thanks to the dignitaries, students and their parents. The stage was efficiently conducted by Akanksha Rana.

On this occasion, among others, Dr. Kanchan Sharma, Vishal Arora and Onkar Singh were also present.
