SEMINAR ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (IPR)

An enlightening seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was conducted at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Ropar on 05/06/2025, aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the significance of IPR among students and faculty. As a key highlight of the seminar, an expert lecture was conducted by Dr. Parampreet Singh from Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib. This initiative was undertaken with the aim of enriching the knowledge, inspiring innovative thinking, bridging the gap between academic learning and real world technological trends. The entire event was successfully executed under the distinguished guidance of Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Principal of the Institute and Ms. Bhawanpreet Kaur, President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).
Objective:
- To educate the participants about the various forms of intellectual property (patents, copyrights, trademarks, etc.)
- To highlight the importance of protecting intellectual creations.
- To Encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among students
