Scholarship Policy

Preamble:

IET Bhaddal aspires to impart quality education, equity and access to all the aspiring candidates irrespective of the class and background. In this endeavor, it strives to offer financial assistance in the form of scholarships apart from providing modern infrastructural facilities and other possible academic support for the holistic growth of an individual.

Scope:

The scholarship policy/guidelines formulated are applicable to all the students enrolled in various academic programmes offered by IET Bhaddal.

Committee:

An exclusive committee comprising of the duly constituted Staff Council Committee is responsible for all the decisions related to scholarships.

Roles &Responsibilities of the Committee:

Scholarships offered by IET Bhaddal

IET Bhaddal offers 06 scholarships to undergraduate as well as post graduate students. The award of these prizes and scholarships is done through a duly constituted Staff Council Committee i.e., scholarship and Fee Concession Committee. The list of various scholarships offered are as follows:

1. Meritorious Student Scholarship

• Eligibility: Students with outstanding academic performance.
• Documents Required: Academic records, identity proof, income certificate, and bank details.

2. Single Girl Child Scholarship

• Eligibility: Female students who are the only child in their family.
• Documents Required: Affidavit confirming single girl child status, academic records, and relevant documents.

3. Scholarship for Parentless and Fatherless Students

• Eligibility: Students without parents or with only a mother.
• Documents Required: Death certificate(s) of parent(s), income certificate of guardian (if applicable), and academic records.

4. Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

• Eligibility: Students with physical or learning disabilities.
• Documents Required: Disability certificate issued by a competent authority, academic records, and income certificate.

5. Scholarship for Neighborhood Students

• Eligibility: Students residing within close proximity to the institution.
• Documents Required: Residential proof, academic records, and identity proof.

6. Blood Relation Scholarship

• Eligibility: Students who have a blood relation (sibling, parent, etc.) already enrolled in the institution.
• Documents Required: Proof of blood relation, academic records, and identity proof.

Financial Assistance to Needy Students

1. College fee concessions are given to needy and deserving students on thebasis of their performance in the last examination taken. Students desirous of getting such concession are required apply to the College office on the prescribed form.
2. Scholarship for Scheduled Caste/Tribe students - Students belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, recognized as such by the Government of India, are awarded scholarship by their respective State Governments. Such students are required to apply to the State Government concerned on forms prescribed by the respective states, through the Principal immediately after joining the college.
